Who is not fascinated by cars that can fly? Soon, ordinary people can buy flying car.

Many parties have experimented with making this fantasy car. Even the creator of America’s first car, Henry Ford created the Ford Flivver in 1926, which is a small flying machine.

Detikers needs to know, some flying cars are not commercially successful. Although, the car looks to actually fly.

The dream of a flying car has been made into movies and TV shows. Recently, many parties have invested up to 7 billion dollars (Rp 107 trillion) to produce electric flying cars.

eVTOL is a flying car with battery power, like an electric car that does not produce pollution. Several companies that produce flying cars include Lilium, Volocopter, Ehang, Vertical Aerospace, and Joby Aviation.

1. Klein Vision AirCar

The Klein Vision AirCar is a flying car engineered by BMW and has had an ‘Official Certificate Of Airworthiness,’ or an official certificate of airworthiness in early 2022 by the Slovak Transport Authority by completing 70 hours of flight testing and more than 200 takeoffs and landings.

2. PAL-V Liberty

The PAL-V Liberty is a flying car produced by a Dutch company in 2018 and fully certified in February 2021 by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency. Deliveries of the PAL-V Liberty to consumers are possible in 2024.

3. AeroMobil 4.0

In 2018, the AeroMobil company released a rendering of version 5.0 of its flying car. However, in 2021 there are rumors that the 4.0 version will be available in two seats that can be driven and will fly in 2023.

4. Terrafugia TF-X

Terrafugia TF-X is a flying car founded in 2006 in Massachusetts, USA with the Transition concept. Geely acquired it in 2017. Detikers needs to know that this company has previously shown the TF-X which shot 321 km/hour, for future releases.

5. Porsche x Boeing

Porsche x Boeing has not been left behind exploring the premium flying car market since 2019. If you want to choose two companies to collaborate on flying cars, Porsche and Boeing will be the top priority.

6. Joby Aviation x Toyota

Toyota is a car company that sees potential in the sky by investing 300 million pounds (Rp 5.5 trillion) for a flying hexacopter taxi start-up, Joby Aviation, in early 2020.

7.Renault AIR4

The Renault AIR4 can technically take to the sky although it is not a flying car due to the lack of wheels. This drone-style vehicle was created to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Renault 4 in 2021.
