jpnn.com, JAKARTA – BYD Motor Indonesia certainly does not close its eyes to the potential of the commercial vehicle market in Indonesia.
Moreover, the growth of the logistics sector in the country in the last two years has increased by around 5-8 percent.

BYD itself has a fairly complete line up of new energy vehicles (NEV), ranging from passenger cars to commercial vehicles.
One that is interesting and has the potential to penetrate the commercial vehicle market in Indonesia is the BYD T5.

“The T5 is a hybrid light truck that is equipped with DM-i technology and has just been released on the Chinese market at the end of 2023,” said President Director of BYD Motor Indonesia, Eagle Zhao to media crew at BYD Shenzhen HQ, China, some time ago.
He continued that in terms of technology and products, the BYD T5 is actually very ready to be marketed in any country.

“So we hope that there will be demand and interest from the public, especially the Indonesian market, so that T5 can enter,” he added.
According to Eagle, the commercial vehicle market compared to passenger vehicles is certainly much broader and longer term.
BYD itself focuses on efforts to minimize air pollution. So, electrified public transportation is a necessity
BYD T5 hybrid is equipped with the latest technology, DM-i which focuses on fuel economy or does not rely too much on foil fuel.
BYD’s DM-i technology also ensures vehicles can accelerate faster, ride smoother and quieter, and electric power is more environmentally friendly. (rdo/jpnn)
