The successful Chinese brand has prepared at least two new products for the Paris Motor Show. One of them is a completely new model that will be shown for the first time in Europe, and the other is the Yangwang U8 super crossover, which will make its French debut.
BYD does not hide its interest in the European market, since France is the most promising market for the U8.
Aimed at a more affluent customer group, the U8 is 5.32 m long and has a 3.05 m wheelbase. The SUV is equipped with four electric motors with a total power of 1200 HP (1280 Nm), so the 3.6 seconds to 100 km/ha the manufacturer does not seem to be excessive. The driving distance on a single charge is 1000 km, which the U8 is helped to achieve by the built-in two-liter Range Extender internal combustion engine, which is used as a generator to charge the battery.
