5000 steps are on the program of the longest route, which is 37 km, between Croix-Rousse and Fourvière.

Between Croix-Rousse and Fourvière, 8,000 runners are expected for this 13th edition of the Lyon Urban Trail, with multiple routes.
Canceled in 2020, the Lyon urban trail (13th edition) and the Lyon urban trail by night (7th edition) are back in the streets of the capital of Gaul this weekend of November 5 and 6. Or rather in the stairs of the Croix-Rousse and the climbs of the hill of Fourvière, since this year more than 5,000 steps are on the program of the largest course, 37 kilometers long.
The Lyon trail race has decided to combine its two events: Lyon Urban Trail and LUT by Night, over a single weekend. This reorganization of the calendar thus gave rise to the idea of creating, for the first time, a unique challenge allowing runners to compete in night races on Saturday evening, then to continue on Sunday morning on day races, with first scheduled departures “at 7:30“.
Departures for the night events, Saturday 6 November, from Place Saint-Jean, rue Tramassac:
- 7:45 p.m. for the 18-kilometer course
- 7 p.m. / 7:15 p.m. for the 12-kilometer course
- 6 p.m. for the 6-kilometer course
Departures for the day races, Sunday November 7, Place Saint Jean:
- 7:30 a.m. for the 37-kilometer course
- 8:30 am for the 24-kilometer course
- 10 a.m. for the 14-kilometer course
- 11:45 am for the 8-kilometer route
- 10:30 am for the 12-kilometer hiking route
