According to the sources, the polling on 5 seats of the National Assembly and 16 seats of the Provincial Assembly was held from 8 am to 5 pm.
By-elections were held for the National Assembly in 2 constituencies from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab and 2 constituencies from Sindh.
In the by-elections for the vacant seats of the Provincial Assemblies, 2, 2 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan Assembly and 12 seats from Punjab are included.
According to the results, independent candidate Mubarak Zeb won from NA-8 Bajaur by getting 67231 votes.
In NA 44 Dera Ismail Khan, Faisal Amin Gandapur of Sunni Ittehad Council was declared successful by getting 56995 votes.
From NA 119 Lahore 3, PML-N’s Ali Pervez Malik won by getting 61 thousand 86 votes.
From NA 132 Kasur 2, Malik Rasheed Ahmed was declared successful by getting 1 lakh 46 thousand 849 votes, he also belongs to PML-N.
People’s Party candidate Khursheed Ahmad Junejo won from NA-196 Qamber Shahdad Kot 1.
In Punjab Constituency PP 22 Chakwal, Tala Gang, PML-N’s Falak Sher Awan, PML-N’s Adnan Afzal Chatha from PP 36 Alipur Chatha, PML-N’s Ahmad Iqbal Chaudhary from PP 54 Narowal 1 won.
Saeed Akbar Khan of PML-N from pp 93 Bhakkar 5 of Punjab Province, Rana Afzal Hussain of PML-N from pp 139 Sheikhupura 4, Mohammad Riaz of PML-I from pp 147 Lahore 3, IP from pp 149 Lahore 5 Muhammad Shoaib Siddiqui, the candidate of PK and supported by PML-N, Chaudhary Mohammad Nawaz of PML-N from PP 158 Lahore 14, Rashid Minhas of PML-N from PP 164 Lahore 20 were declared winners.
According to the inconclusive results, PPP’s Mumtaz Ali Chang won from PP 266 Sadiqabad, PP 290 Dera Ghazi Khan 5, PML-N’s Ali Mohammad Laghari was successful.
According to the unofficial and unofficial results of 2 constituencies of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the by-elections, independent candidate Mubarak Zeib won from PK 22 Bajaur constituency and Daud Shah Afridi of Sunni Ittehad Council won in PK 91 Kohat 2.
According to the unofficial and non-final results of Balochistan, BNP’s Mir Jahanzeb Mengal from PB20 Khuzdar 3, PML-N candidate Muhammad Zareen Khan Magsi from PB22 Lasbela were declared successful.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif congratulated the successful candidates of the National and Provincial Assembly in the by-elections.
He said that the victory of PML-N in the by-elections is a sign of people’s confidence.
