The car started skidding when exiting a bend

ACQUANEGRA. The car began to skid when exiting a curve and, thanks to the wet asphalt, the driver was no longer able to control it. He thus slipped into an escarpment ending his run against a light pole and then overturned.
The road accident, which took place on Sunday afternoon in Strada Oglio Ponte in Acquanegra sul Chiese, was witnessed by some witnesses and one of these, the plumber Ivo Salvagni, with the help of a group of friends, gave first aid and alerted the 118.
Two women were injured: Debora Lanfredini, 26, from Calvatone who was driving a Fiat Punto and Daniela Brescia, 44, the passenger who lives in the Cremona area. At the time of the accident it was raining and, while facing a curve, due to causes still under investigation, the 26-year-old lost control, ending up off a bank. Fortunately the car did not fully hit the light pole. The consequences would have been much more serious. The plumber heard the crash and ran. The young woman got out of the car by herself while her friend needed help. The latter was transferred in yellow code to Cremona.
Two ambulances were on site, the Viadana carabinieri and the Mantua firefighters.
