BWF World Championship 2023 continues today. Indonesian women’s doubles Lanny Tria Mayasari/Ribka Sugiarto bag in the round of 32, after losing to Chen Qing Chen/Jia Yi Fan.

BWF World Champions 2023 aka Badminton World Championships will be held at the Royal Arena, Copenhagen, Denmark. Today, Wednesday (23/8) 10 Indonesian representatives are playing.

The Indonesian women’s doubles played for the first time in Court 1, namely Lanny Tria Mayasari/Ribka Sugiarto. They faced the world number one pair from China, Chen Qing Chen/Jia Yi Fan.

Lanny/Rebekah lost in straight games, 5-21 in the first game and 8-21 in the second.

Lanny Tria Mayasari/Ribka Sugiarto had put up a tight fight at the start 2-2. Next, Chen Qing Chen/Jia Yi Fan took the lead in the 11-3 interval.

Chen Qing Chen/Jia Yi Fan is unstoppable. They won 12 straight points 15-3 and won the first game 21-5 without difficulty.
