KOMPAS.com – World Badminton Federation (BWF) has updated the ranking of badminton players accordingly All England 2021 on Tuesday (23/3/2021).
One of the changes occurred in the men’s singles sector. Lee Zii Jia (Malaysia) bolted on the update ranking BWF latest, after winning All England 2021.
Lee Zii Jia managed to ensure the title of champion after reducing Viktor Axelsen’s resistance through a three-game match.
The men’s singles, which is said to be the successor to Lee Chong Wei, won 30-29, 20-22, 21-9 in 74 minutes.

The victory brought Lee Zii Jia up two strips from 10th to eighth in the BWF ranking with a collection of 69,389 points.
Lee Zii Jia was right behind Jonatan Christie which occupies the seventh position with 74,770 points.
On the other hand, the positions of Marcus Fernaldi Gideon / Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo and Mohammad Ahsan / Hendra Setiawan are unshakable in the BWF ranking.
Although the two men’s doubles pairs did not continue to compete in All England 2021 because Indonesia was forced to resign, it did not enable the rivals to steal their thrones.
Marcus / Kevin still dominate the men’s doubles in first place with a score of 106,853 points.
Meanwhile, Ahsan / Hendra followed in second place with 100,557 points.
However, Indonesia’s dominance in the BWF ranking is slowly being offset by the Japanese men’s doubles.

Hiroyuki Endo / Yuta Watanabe rose two places to fourth. Endo / Watanabe received this assurance after winning the All England 2021.
As for All England 2020, Hiroyuki Endo / Yuta Watanabe also became champions after defeating Marcus Fernaldi Gideon / Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo.
Hiroyuki Endo / Yuta Watanabe succeeded in displacing Li Jin Hui / Liu Yu Chen who fell to number six in the world.
Endo / Watanabe’s achievement also ensures Japan has two representatives in the top five.
