BOLASPORT.COM – Indonesia no longer has three pairs of men’s doubles that occupy the top 10 positions in the world.
In the latest ranking list released by the Badminton World Federation (BWF), Tuesday (21/2/2023), the men’s doubles pair, Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Ardianto are still ranked number one in the world.
Hendra Setiawan/Mohammad Ahsan also still ranks second in the world. However, Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Martin was knocked out of the top 10 in the world.
The couple nicknamed The Babies dropped one level to 11th in the world after being shifted by Choi Sol-gyu/Kim Won-ho (South Korea).

Another Indonesian men’s doubles, Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Bagas Maulana is ranked 12th in the world.
Meanwhile, Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo have not moved from 19th place in the world. Pramudya Kusumawardana/Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan dropped one strip to 21st place in the world.
In the women’s doubles, Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti climbed three steps to fifth in the world. Another Indonesian women’s doubles, Febriana Dwipuja Kusuma/Amalia Cahaya Pratiwi, dropped to 19th in the world ranking.
Indonesian men’s singles, Jonatan Christie and Anthony Sinisuka Gintig still rank second and third in the world. The change in the top 10 position occurred after Kodai Naraoka (Japan) replaced Kunlavuy Vitidsarn (Thailand) in the 7th world ranking.
Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo rose one strip to 17th in the world ranking, while Shesar Hiren Rhustavito did not move from 26th in the world.
