Amir Tawfiq, the club’s contracting director, announced the signing of the Zambian Walter Bwalia, the striker of El Gouna, to join Al-Ahly for four seasons, starting early January 2021.
This came after Tawfiq finished all financial and administrative matters with El Gouna club officials, in full coordination with Captain Mahmoud Al-Khatib, club president, in order to quickly join the Zambian striker to strengthen the ranks of Al-Ahly during the coming period.
The Al-Ahly official contacted their counterparts in El-Gouna to block the way to their rival Zamalek and win the deal, especially that the Red Genie wants to contract with a super striker to meet the needs of Betso Mosimane, the coach of the red team, in order to support the front line before participating in the FIFA Club World Cup in Qatar next February. .
Zamalek entered the line of negotiations with El-Gouna to settle a deal with Walter Bwalia, who presented strong levels last season and continues to shine in the current season in search of a suitable alternative to Mustafa Mohamed, the team’s striker, who insists on going through the professional experience in light of having an offer from French Saint-Etienne.
