“I want to remind you that even though we as lawyers have the right to immunity and the right of immunity, we are not free to say anything. According to Razman, the ‘brutal’ language that BW spoke was very vicious. He suspected that the statement was aimed at the country’s top leadership, namely President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
“This brutality speaks this ferocious language. There is a group of bad people who commit brutal acts that do not understand the law, get hit by all. And this is as if we should suspect that it indicates the top leadership of the country,” added Razman.
Razman emphasized that the implementation of the Sibolangit KLB had nothing to do with President Jokowi or other government officials. According to him, this was purely Moeldoko’s personal business.
“So I need to clarify that this has nothing to do with the President, the Vice President, the Menkumham. None of this. This is purely the personal of Mr Moeldoko. Obviously, yes,” he said.
As is well known, the former Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Bambang Widjojanto, became a lawyer for the Democratic Party of the Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) camp. BW as the representative of the AHY faction legal team sued the 10 activists of the Sibolangit KLB which resulted in Moeldoko as the General Chairperson.
BW also said that the implementation of the KLB Sibolangit had trampled on the AD / ART of the Democratic Party. According to him, if the KLB were to be accommodated by the state, this would be a form of democratic brutality in the Jokowi era.
