In the regional football league West, the duel for the title between the U23 team from Borussia Dortmund and Rot-Weiss Essen seems to have lost tension after the catch-up games on Wednesday. But a decision has not yet been made. BVB II has eleven, RWE even twelve games until the end of the season. We took a close look at the rest of the program.

Seven points lies Borussia Dortmund II after the 3: 1 success in Bonn and dhe 1: 2 disgrace from pursuers Rot-Weiss Essen at the bottom of the table, Rot Weiss Ahlen ahead of the self-proclaimed favorite for the title.

Here is the table of the Regionalliga West

Even if Wednesday evening was a major setback for RWE was, it’s not all over yet. At first glance, seven points are a great mortgage. But: RWE still has one game less than the Dortmund offspring. And: The rest of the Borussia program has it all. But it is also clear that Essen actually has to solve all its tasks with three points and hope for two or three defeats in Dortmund.
