BVNatalia (42) has been on stage for twenty years, and that was something to celebrate. Her friends, family and fans therefore organized a surprise party for the Kempen singer. And he was completely overwhelmed, it sounds on social media.
“I experienced something unforgettable yesterday,” Natalia revealed on her Instagram page. “I was kidnapped and guided blindfolded to the Fakkeltheater in Antwerp. I had no idea what was about to happen, I thought a day of pampering somewhere?” But that turned out differently. The accompanying video shows Natalia being led onto the stage blindfolded. The room is full of friends, family, colleagues and fans of the singer. Her surprise is great when the blindfold is finally allowed to come off. “I was overwhelmed by a surprise event for my 20-year career, with a film that contained many highlights… But also messages from people close to my heart,” Natalia continued.

“I was really in shock! Overwhelming to feel and receive something like this and I am forever grateful for the people who have supported me so loyally over the past 20 years,” she added, before thanking the two friends who organized the event. “How you managed to fix this in your limited free time is unbelievable. Thank you for your dedication, but especially thank you to everyone who was there for the love and friendship.”
Twenty years ago, Natalia took part in ‘Idool’, where she came second. She has now become one of the mainstays in the music world, scoring hits with, among others, ‘I’ve Only Begun To Fight’ and ‘Highter Than The Sun’. On Saturday, November 18, she will give a major anniversary concert in the Antwerp Lotto Arena.
