Various ways are done so that the distribution of subsidized fuel such as diesel and Pertalite is right on target. One of the options that is currently being used is by utilizing the application MyPertamina to arrange the purchase of the fuel. How does it work?
BPH Migas Committee member Saleh Abdurrahman explained that in the future people who are entitled to fill in subsidized diesel or Pertalite must first register on the MyPertamina application. After that, BPH Migas will verify whether the person has the right or not to buy diesel or Pertalite.
“In the future, we will, of course, through various socializations, we will use MyPertamina. So for consumers of JBT (certain types of fuel), especially JBT diesel, they must register first go to MyPertamina, who is he, we verify this person has the right to receive it,” he explained to detik.com (2/6/2022).
Once approved, consumers will have access to purchase diesel or Pertalite. When going to buy diesel, he can show access in the application MyPertamina like QR codes.
If it is not verified, then that person is not entitled to buy diesel or Pertalite. He had to buy a common type of fuel such as Pertamax cs.
“Then, when in approval then later he will have access. When he enters the gas station he has it, it can also be like a QR he can show, he can buy it, but what is not verified is that person is not entitled to receive subsidies, he can’t, he has to buy JBU (general type of fuel),” he said.
He added, to realize this, it is necessary to revise Presidential Regulation No. 191 of 2014 concerning the Supply, Distribution and Retail Selling Price of Oil Fuel. This is because the Presidential Regulation regulates who is entitled to receive subsidized fuel.
“What is the first step, we must first revise Presidential Regulation 191 of 2014. Because the Presidential Regulation regulates who is entitled to receive, transportation, fishermen, MSMEs are regulated there,” he said.
