Also, this subsidy is given to electric cars that already have factories in Indonesia. So far, only two electric cars have factories in Indonesia, namely the Wuling Air ev produced at the Cikarang plant and the Hyundai Ioniq 5 which was also born in Cikarang.
Meanwhile, if the subsidy amount does not change, consumers who want to buy an electric car will have less burden. For example, to buy a Wuling Air ev class electric car, which now costs IDR 238 million with a subsidy of IDR 80 million, consumers only need to pay IDR 158 million. Then if you want to offer the Air Ev type Long Range for Rp.295 million, then with the subsidies it will be Rp.215 million. If you want Air ev with a refill stack, you just need to pay IDR 231 million.

Consumers of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 will also benefit. If the subsidy amount does not change, consumers who want to buy the lowest variant of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 will only have to pay Rp. 668 million. Without subsidies, consumers have to pay Rp. 748 million to apply for the first electric car produced in Indonesia. Even for the most expensive variant, consumers do not have to spend up to IDR 859 million, but only IDR 779 million.
