When Martijn Krabbé pays the couple a visit, it turns out that the housing shortage is high. Lisa bursts into tears when she sees the presenter at the door. The two have been looking for a home for a year and have had about 25 viewings. So far they have had little success, but they hope that the team of Buy Without Looking changes that.
They would like a single-family home with at least three bedrooms, a garden and a spacious kitchen. They have made a budget of 310,000 euros available for this, including a possible renovation.
Bob Sikkens and Alex van Keulen assure the couple that it is not easy with their small budget, but miraculously enough, they soon come across a bargain in Lochem. It is the place where Lisa has high on her list.
The necessary work still needs to be done in the house, but for a purchase price of 300,000 they can’t leave it alone. Lisa and Riski are also excited when they see the house. Although they do hope that some things can be renovated.
You would think that renovating for 10,000 euros is not easy, but the couple can add another 10,000 euros, bringing them to a budget of 20,000 euros. Bob works wonders with that money: he installs a brand new kitchen and a new floor, renovates the bathroom and Roos even provides a real game room for Riski and a cozy guest room for his parents.
When the couple sees the end result, they can’t believe their eyes: ‘How beautiful! I’m really amazed,” exclaims Lisa. ‘Is this really ours? I don’t even know where to look.’ Riski is also over the moon. ‘I’m really super happy!’
