It may be impossible, but one of the oldest cars on the Czech market is saying goodbye. The Fiat 500 is already in its seventeenth year, which will also be its last. Due to increasingly strict European regulations regarding support systems, production has ended and the last pieces of stock are available. And this is not the only car that is currently the last chance to buy new.
Already in 2007, Fiat introduced the modern 500 and probably did not know at that time that the end of the product would be written about seventeen years later. In addition, not because of a decrease in interest, but because of the mandatory assistants that all new cars must have according to the rules of the European Union, and that a three-door hatchback cannot or offer the town semi-cabriolet any more. In the Czech Republic, according to the Fiat website The last 43 stock cars remain.
“After the stocks are sold out, it will only be possible to order the fully electric version of the Fiat 500e on the Czech market,” the Italian automaker said. However, only the fully electric 500 will arrive in the future as a cheaper mild hybrid, but this will most likely not happen until 2026. So those who want a mini-petrol will have to act fast (or settle for a less elegant Panda). The cheapest of the stock cars costs 349,900 crowns, the most expensive 479,000 crowns, as it is a convertible in the highest version of Dolce Vita.
While the equipment of the cars offered varies (but the car always has seven airbags, at least a manual airbag or a radio), the driver is uniform. All Fiat 500s have a three-cylinder 51 kW liter mid-range hybrid with a six-speed manual gearbox. The importer will then attract the interested party for a discounted lease for three years for 4,999 crowns per month.
But this is not the only Fiat that has the last chance to buy one. The compact Tipo model is also available from stock only. They are there choose from 36 vendors: two sedans, 21 station wagons and 13 hatchbacks. Usually with a three-cylinder gasoline engine with an output of 74 kW or a four-cylinder hybrid with an output of 96 kW, but there are also five cars that have a 96 kW turbodiesel Multijet.
The cheapest is a sedan with a liter engine for 385,000 crowns, at the other end there is a hatchback with turbodiesel, Cross package and several extras for 712,900 crowns.
