The Apple Time Flies event will be held on September 15. During that event there will probably be a focus on the new Apple Watch Series 6 and the iPad. But what if you just want a good Watch without paying the top price?
At the moment, the Apple Watch Series 3 is the best choice. It has a suggested retail price of 229 euros, although you can get it a bit cheaper here and there can tap on the head. Is it wise to wait or buy now?
Apple Watch Series 3 or something newer?
The short answer to that question is to wait. The long answer is that you really can’t make a mistake. The Apple Watch Series 3 is just a very good smartwatch at the moment. The watch keeps track of your daily movement and gives you notifications when you receive messages or emails. In the category ‘I also have the Apple Watch Series 3 myself’ it was simply a good purchase that motivates me to exercise every day. And it is a kind of addiction to fill the rings on the watch every day. And then in the evening gorging on yourself because you deserve it (kidding of course).
But there is a chance that in addition to the announcement of the Apple Watch Series 6, which will be the new flagship, there will also be a new entry-level model. The Apple Watch Series 3 is a bit on the old side. It was launched in 2017 and has certain limitations and is also slightly more bulky than the Series 5 in terms of design. There is therefore talk of a kind of Apple Watch SE, comparable to the iPhone SE. A cheaper model, which is also less in terms of specifications, but probably offers enough for someone who is now looking for a good smartwatch.
What is five days now?
In addition, the event is only five days away from us. The expectation is that the new watches would be for sale soon after the announcement at the event.
