Quoting Asia One (8/6) in Singapore, there is a type of durian called Mao Shan Wang which is very popular so the price is high. The fans are also willing to pay dearly for this type of durian. It is said that the taste is similar to Musang King durian which has a creamy texture and a slightly bitter sweet taste.
A netizen shared a disappointing experience when he ordered a Mao Shan Wang durian to a durian seller who offered it online. The netizen initially contacted the seller durian named Durian.Hub through the message field on Facebook and ordered several boxes since mid-May.
Until finally the durian order was reported that the order was available at the end of May. The durian seller also provided information for the buyer with photos of several durians packaged in Styrofoam boxes.
The seller offers 5 boxes of durian each weighing 400 grams at a price of 98 dollars or equivalent to Rp. 1 million. After being received by the buyer, it turned out that the durian he received was actually a different variant from the type of Mao Shan Wang he ordered.

“Hello, I have given three boxes of durian to my in-laws. When we enjoyed it, the durian taste was not like msw (Mao Shan Wang). The seeds are big, the taste is bitter and not creamy,” the durian buyer wrote to the seller.
After the complaint, there was a debate between the durian buyer and seller. What makes the buyer even more disappointed is when the durian seller accuses the buyer of being infected with Covid-19 because he cannot taste the durian well and advises the buyer to contact the Covid-19 handling officer.
The netizen who initially responded to this error patiently then turned into so emotional after the treatment given by the durian seller. The seller even said that the netizen had to re-order or return the durian in its whole and untasted form if they wanted to get the Mao Shang Wan variant.
The netizen said he didn’t want to ask for compensation for the type error durian sent. He just wanted to ask about the durian that was sent. In fact, instead of admitting to being wrong, the durian seller, who knew correctly that the durian was the wrong type, actually mocked the netizens and behaved annoyingly.
