TRIBUNNEWS.COM – Ducati adds to its lineup of folding electric bikes or e-bikes made by name Ducati MG-20.
The folding bike will complement the Ducati SCR-E and SCR-E Sport Scramblers, as well as replace the Ducati Urban-E with a price tag of 1,599 Euros or around Rp. 27.5 million.
The Ducati MG-20 will be available from July 2021 at Ducati dealers in Europe and online, as well as at select consumer electronics stores and online store big.
Unlike the Urban-E, the MG-20 is more special, because it has a frame and forks made of magnesium while the six-spoke wheels are made of die-cast magnesium.

Then, the wheel size is typical of folding bikes, using 20 inches x 2.125 inches or 406 in ISO, making the MG-20 suitable for urban use.
Launching Paultan, Thursday (1/7/2021), a 36-Volt 250 Watt electric motor that produces 10.8 Nm of torque is located at the rear wheel hub.
This electric motor has an IP54 rating against light dust and splashes of water, but is not completely waterproof.
Power comes from a 36-Volt, 378 Watt-hour Samsung battery rated at 10.5 AH.

The battery is integrated into the frame and can be removed for external charging.
Full charge allows a range of 50 km with a maximum speed of 25 km/h, as per EC regulations.
The pedal power assistance of the motor depends on road conditions, incline angle and pedaling style.
Control of the motor assist function is carried out via the MG-20’s LCD display, enabling three levels of assist from 12 km/h to 25 km/h.
