Joe Caputo, a New York police officer known for his ruthless actions, was murdered. The rumor is that it was an action by the local mafia boss Malloy. Dan Caputo, the victim’s son, comes to town to uncover the cause of the death. Although a first assassination attempt on him fails, it costs the lives of many innocent people. Police officers Lieutenant Sharp and Captain Jeffrey view Caputo with suspicion. They warn Caputo and his longtime girlfriend Susan not to investigate further. However, Dan does not listen to her and has to hide from many opponents. He finds a supporter in the petty crook Duke. Things are slowly coming to light, and a merciless final battle ensues!
