Jakarta –
An airline passenger was disappointed with the flight service. He had bought luggage, but he was still fined because of the size of the bag.
Reporting from Birmingham live On Tuesday (12/11/2024), Catherine Warrilow (45) was the passenger. He flew from London Stansted to Seville with Ryanair.
Warrilow had paid 10kg for his cabin bag and felt everything was fine. Until then, he was told that he had to pay an additional fee for the bag he was carrying.

Staff told him that the bag he was carrying could be 2 cm larger than the permitted size. This bag has a zipper feature that allows the bag to be expanded or reduced.
In fact, Warrilow had previously confirmed that his bag would fit on an airline-sized rack when the zipper was closed. The staff didn’t care about it at the time.
Warrilow called Ryanair’s actions “absolutely ridiculous” and described the incident as another example of the airline’s long-debated “baggage tax scandal”.
While at the check-in counter, he was given the option to pay an additional feeor leave his bag behind. In fact, the workers had to press the suitcase with his knees to put it on the upper storage shelf of the cabin.
Finally Warrilow, who was already dizzy, paid an additional fee of 75 pounds sterling or Rp. Even worse, he had to carry the bag to the cabin section without the help of a flight attendant. Fortunately, the bag fits him, unlike what the airline doubted.
