President Director of Housing Bulog Budi Waseso or Buwas open your voice about the issue that you will be appointed as minister of agriculturereplacing Syahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL).
Buwas said that currently he prefers to focus on carrying out his duties as the main director of Bulog. Nevertheless, Buwas said that he was used to being entrusted with new tasks, such as when he was chosen to lead Bulog.
“We now do what is our duty, we do it well. Next We want what’s up Whatever. There’s no problem because I’m used to it,” he said at the Bulog Headquarters, South Jakarta (3/2).
Buwas was reluctant to comment too much on the news that he would become a minister. He also did not respond with certainty when asked whether he was ready if he was entrusted with being the minister of agriculture.
“Never mind going there (to become a minister). Now what’s important is that my target in the near future is how market operations can reduce rice prices,” he said.
Isu reshuffle The cabinet has strengthened in recent weeks. Syahrul’s name, who is a NasDem cadre, is included in the list of ministers proposed by PDIP to be removed.
Meanwhile, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) recently held a limited meeting (ratas) regarding rice supplies without Syahrul present. Those invited were Buwas, Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan and Head of the National Food Agency Arief Prasetyo.
“Yes, I only invited three of them to deal with rice, right? This is about distribution, about market operations,” said Buwas at the Jakarta Presidential Palace, Tuesday (31/1).
Buwas said he was present as the party that will carry out market operations. Zulhas, he said, was present as the party responsible for price stabilization.
Meanwhile, Arief was presented as the party who would analyze policies related to food.
