Buuttereedners are tired of the political scheming in The Hague. That’s why they made a protest song with a wink, because the barrel talkers can’t look angry.

Hectic in the Marlstone Music studio in Ulestraten, because 24 buuttereedners, dressed in their costumes, are ready for the recording microphone.
smooth chat
“It is certainly fun, but there must also be singing. No, not all of them can do that,” says Robert Loozen of Marlstone. He sees the humor in it. “A smooth chat, that’s what they became known for and not because of their singing talent.”
cheerfulness
Guus Steinen of dialect group Don Kiesjot, the creator of the protest song Part of the laugh, explains: “I made this song a while ago. There is little to laugh about in The Hague. This song brings some joy again.”
“With buuttereedners Hub Stassen and Gilbert Petit we also got the other 22 together for this recording day. I expect that we will have the recordings ready before a new cabinet has been formed,” says Steinen.
Don Kiesjot
Just to be sure, dialect group Don Kiesjot is also at the recordings and the members sing along to support the buuttereedners. “Yes, if we all sing together then it sounds pretty good. It certainly doesn’t disappoint me!”, Steinen says.
big stage
There is also good news at the last minute. Hub Stassen may inform the occasional formation that they will be on the big stage in Roermond on the 11th of the 11th. The Part of the laugh is then brought together.
