Photos of the device appeared on the Internet, which was probably the prototype of the first generation Apple Watch. It somehow remained intact and retained fully functional software and developer settings. The pictures were discovered on Twitter-microblog Apple Demo (@AppleDemoYT)
In the photographs, an early sample of the “apple” smartwatch is clad in a protective case that hides its design. The watch does not yet have the Digital Crown control wheel, and there are two buttons on the left side. A large button is also on the case – most likely, this is the “home” key.
The prototype runs a preview of the watchOS operating system. The preinstalled software also includes the Lisa Tester (a nod to Apple’s Lisa computer from the early 1980s) featuring Lisa Simpson on the icon and SpringBoard to showcase the future watchOS interface.
A few days earlier, Bob Burrough (@bob_burrough) tweeted photos taken in the spring of 2007. They show the process of testing the first assembled iPhones.

We will remind, the iPhone of the first generation was announced in January 2007, but went on sale only in June. As for the Apple Watch, they were shown in September 2014, sales began in April 2015.
