Hoogeveen – Mike van Puffelen managed to finish the New York City Marathon: but it didn’t happen alone. In a final time of 7 hours and 1 minute and 34 seconds he crossed the finish line

Up to 21km was great for Mike. Despite the difficult conditions, he ran quite well up to 21km, it was 2:20 minutes, then his knee gave out. And Mike couldn’t run another meter.

Giving up wasn’t an option for him. Unfortunately he had to walk 21 km and the pain only got worse. Despite this, he still made it to the finish line.

Mike is no stranger to Regionieuws Hoogeveen. He has already passed several times with all kinds of actions to raise sponsors and money for this marathon, for the benefit of KIKA

New promotion

On 24, 25 and 26 November he will perform in the passage of the drum in Hoogeveen. And he sells conical kikas with and without snow.
