A DAY After being appointed by the Minister of Home Affairs Muhammad Tito Karnavian as Acting Governor of Aceh, Bustami Hamzah returned to Tanah Rencong. His arrival with his entourage was greeted warmly at Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport, Aceh Besar, Thursday (14/3/2024) at 15.00 WIB.
The Acting Governor of Aceh was accompanied by his wife, Mellani Bustami, who was also recently appointed as Acting Chair of the Aceh Province PKK Mobilization Team. Bustami was welcomed by all elements of Forkopim-da, the head of SKPA, administrators of a number of student organizations, and other community figures.
Aceh Government Assistant II, Mawardi put a scarf around Bustami’s neck. Around 100 people queued to shake hands with the Acting Governor of Aceh. From SIM Airport, Bustami went straight to the official residence to meet his mother.

So, it is natural for the Acehnese public to warmly welcome the appointment of Aceh’s son Bustami Hamzah as the new Acting Governor of Aceh. Bustami, who was born and raised in Aceh, certainly understands the current conditions of his region.
To this media a few days ago, Bustami confirmed that APBA 2024 will be a priority that will be implemented as long as he carries out this mandate. To implement APBA, of course there must be a harmonious relationship with the DPRA. Regarding this matter, the Acehnese public has seen firsthand how harmonious Bustami’s relations are with the leaders and members of the DPRA.
Furthermore, Bustami also admitted that he would focus on holding PON and Pilkada simultaneously, which is a national agenda. “PON and Pilkada will be my priority, please pray and help,” said Bustami.
