Businesswoman Annemarie Van Gaal Reveals Disconnection from Reality in Interview with Weekly Magazine Weekend

Businesswoman Annemarie van Gaal shows in an interview with weekly magazine Weekend that she is completely disconnected from reality. She says she pays attention to the little things and reinforces this claim by stating that she would never buy a bag for more than 4000 euros.

She explains that she is quite a consumer. “I see something in that, that you just buy a little less. And that you think very carefully about what you buy. With clothes I quickly think: I will not do that for that amount. I am different with furniture, because it lasts so long and you look at it every day. Furniture should be more durable than clothing,” explains the TV personality.

Van Gaal continues this line with regard to the purchase of very expensive designer bags. “No no no. That would really go too far for me. What is the maximum I would spend on a bag? If it’s really nice, that’s a lot. A beautiful Chanel bag is also quickly 4,000 euros. But then it will stop.”

She has remained so ordinary
The well-known investor is an outright bargain hunter, according to a juicy supermarket anecdote. “I came home proud last night, because I had saved 50 euros at Albert Heijn through the bonus, that’s quite a lot haha! And eating out? We don’t do that very often. I also really like to cook. We always tip when we go out to eat.”
