GROENLO – That the SV Grol Business Club is a welcome showcase for the Groenlose football club was proven once again last Sunday. With two coaches, with approximately sixty members in total, we set sail for the GelreDome stadium in Arnhem to witness the Gelderland football club Vitesse – NEC. A provincial derby par excellence between the city of Arnhem on the one hand and the city of Nijmegen on the other, which ultimately ended in a 0-3 victory for the Nijmegen team, which therefore lands the Arnhem formation even deeper in the relegation zone of the current Dutch Premier League.
Despite the fact that the Arnhem formation had earned more than the final result suggests, this had no consequences for the mood of the Groenlo guests. Therefore, a broad smile on the face of the board, led by chairman Matthijs Roorda, and further consisting of Peter Scheinck, Rob Soer, Bas Stortelers, Dave ten Have Luc Stortelder and Miquel Porskamp. In the cozy, fully equipped business space in the GelreDome stadium, a proud and therefore very satisfied BC chairman Roorda announced that he was very proud of the still growing Groenlose BC. “The fact that SV Grol has broad support as a football club is proven by the fact that entrepreneurs are still registering as members. This is mainly due to the fact that we at BC tailor everything to achieving a double hit. It is not only about club sponsorship, but also about setting up meetings with fellow entrepreneurs where members have the opportunity to make contacts and get to know each other.”
In addition to watching the match in the GelreDome stadium from the West Stand, a very pleasant get-together took place before, during half time and after the match in the luxurious business area on the third floor of the stadium. All guests present, wearing a black and yellow Vitesse tie, were offered a brunch. During and after the match, the BC members lacked nothing; a range of snacks and drinks passed by. The organization could look back on a successful outing by the Business Club representing SV Grol.
