President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero) Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok remains confident the company’s cash flow will improve until the end of 2022. He is optimistic that the state oil company can make a profit even though the selling price of some of its products is now below the economic price.
“You must always be optimistic,” said Ahok when contacted via short message, Friday, June 3, 2022.
Ahok explained that Pertamina is now selling Pertamax’s loss to close the gap between the price of crude oil and the selling price to consumers. The difference is around Rp. 2,165 per liter.
