YOU/ A new meeting between Gabonese and Turkish businessmen should be held in September 2021 in Libreville. In the meantime, the two parties exchanged by videoconference on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.
It was a question of making an overview of the previous discussions, to evoke the work accomplished together within the framework of this platform and to reiterate the determination of Gabon and Turkey to continue and strengthen their relationship in various fields. With an emphasis on economic cooperation, within the framework of the Turkish-Gabonese Business Council set up in 2016.
Gabonese and Turkish businessmen hailed the momentum spurred by President Ali Bongo Ondimba and his counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. This dynamic has already materialized with the initialing of a number of agreements aimed at boosting trade between our two countries.
“Gabonese employers need partners who can support SMEs in the development of their respective activities. But also for the local enhancement of our raw materials ”, said the president of the Gabonese Employers’ Confederation (CPG), Alain Bâ Oumar.
