Business roundtable to export machinery and agricultural parts produced by SMEs – El Atlántico

Governor Axel Kicillof today reiterated his criticism of the government of President Javier Milei and targeted the legitimacy of key officials in the national Cabinet.

“Milei said that he was coming with new people, because nothing different could be achieved with the same people as always. His cabinet is made up of those who came third in the election: Bullrich, Caputo and Sturzenegger,” said Kicillof during the Plenary “The Province is organized. The country is not for sale” held in Santa Clara del Mar, together with leaders and officials of the fifth electoral section.

Along those lines, the governor said: “Not only did no one vote for them to repeat the disasters they already did, but they specifically voted against it. The policy that Milei is pursuing is the same as always and with the same effects as always.”

The governor also said that the libertarian government is legitimate because it “won the runoff,” but he maintained that this is “as true as the fact that people are feeling that we are facing the biggest electoral fraud that has ever happened in the country.”

“He said during his campaign that the adjustment was designed only for the caste. I warn you, Milei: those votes he got, each one who voted for him, did not do so so that they would adjust for him, his neighbor, the worker next door or the retirees. Now it is clear that what he calls caste is the people,” said the governor.

The governor of Buenos Aires also said that Milei “will not be remembered for being the most important libertarian in the world, but for the way he repressed retirees and for the pepper spray he used on a 10-year-old girl.”

“Neither children nor adults: the only ones who are privileged according to Milei are the investment banks, the millionaire tax evaders and the large transnationals,” he stressed.

Kicillof also said that the policy being pursued by the President “is the same as always and with the same effects.” “They came with the Cavallo and Martinez de Hoz plan,” he emphasized.

He also questioned the “attack” that the national government is carrying out against the province of Buenos Aires. “Just as it attacks all the provinces, it does so with greater ferocity against the province of Buenos Aires. It does so as revenge because the people of the province did not support it in the elections,” said Kicillof.

The vice-governor Verónica Magario, the ministers of Community Development of Buenos Aires, Andrés Larroque, and of Infrastructure and Public Services, Gabriel Katopodis, participated in the event together with the governor. Also present were the heads of municipalities of the metropolitan area such as Jorge Ferraresi (Avellaneda) or Mario Secco (Ensenada).
