Which team will you join?
The PROPARCO MAS Division is dedicated to supporting companies in the Agri-food, Manufacturing and Services sectors, through the activation of financing in the form of loans, subordinated loans and guarantees. Attached to the Financing Department (FNT) of Proparco, the MAS Division is made up of 28 people, of which 23 are project managers.
Within the MAS Division, the account manager will be assigned to the Services area, which includes the social (health and education) and urban development (hotels, commercial and office buildings, social housing) sectors. The business manager is responsible for identifying, setting up, negotiating, examining and managing the loans. He will also take care of the monitoring
implementation of projects in the portfolio.
What will your role be?
He She will have the following functions:
– Participate in the identification and ensure the education and formalization of projects:
evaluate projects at a technical, economic and financial level; analyze and protect all risks associated with the project; ensure proper coordination and management of the project team (dual business manager, lawyer, E&S expert, sector expert)
– Prepare the supports and present the files to the decision-making bodies;
– Negotiate, with the support of the legal team, the economic conditions and terms of the contracts;
– Participate in the execution of coordination mandates and agreed with development finance institutions;
– Monitor the execution of the projects in the portfolio relying on the operations support officers: manage the process of disbursement of funds in compliance with the conditions set out in the financing agreement, guarantee periodic monitoring of the progress of the projects and the situation of the counterpart ( and possibly guarantors) through supervisory missions, meetings with customers on site and production of risk assessment forms;
– Participate in sector capitalization and competitive intelligence on one or more sectors of the Services Domain
Who are we looking for?
Bac + 5: university – Grandes Ecoles
– 5 years of minimum experience in debt financing
– Financial analysis / modeling and control of financial assets and structuring of debt financing
– Documentation control and legal negotiation with clients
– Good writing and synthesis skills
– Autonomy, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate a project team
– Spoken and written English fluently (working fluently in an English-speaking environment), Spanish would be an advantage
– Willingness to carry out missions abroad (3 to 4 missions per year)
