Every year since 2018, Norwegian online shop Villoid has doubled its turnover, and this year, founder and Greåker woman Jeanette Dyhre Kvisvik is aiming for NOK 200 million.
This made more people open their eyes to the company. Recently, Villiod was named one of the best online shops in the Nordics by payment solution Klarna.

The company was awarded the “Rising Star” award and in the justification of the jury it was highlighted, among other things, that the growth is impressive. “Villoid challenged one of the most competitive categories, dominated by big international players”, believes the jury.
– We are incredibly proud and happy. Our goal is to become the largest shopping platform for girls in the Nordic region and this award gives us an opportunity to give even more gas to achieve our goal, says Dyhre Kvisvik.
Among the 451 Norwegian online shops nominated, a professional judging panel named the four Norwegian online shop winners, and Villoid was awarded one million Norwegian kroner in marketing prize money.
– This award means a lot to us. Over one million kronor award in marketing gives us more fuel to reach our one billion kronor sales target – even faster, says Dyhre Kvisvik.

Unusual growth in a difficult market
That the women’s fashion online store is growing is atypical for today’s market.
Capital writes i.e. the online shopping market in Norway so far this year has decreased by more than 11%.
On the stock market, online shopping giants Zalando and Boozt are down 55 and 45 percent respectively this year, writes the same newspaper.
– Villoid’s growth continued with the same strength and improved margins, even as the rest of the retail market slowed sharply. This is due to our investment in data and technology and bodes well for the future of Villoid, says Dyhre Kvisvik.
– We’re experiencing tremendous growth and it’s especially fun to grow up when no one else is! Also, it’s great that it’s Sweden’s biggest online shopping success, Caia Cosmetics, led by Bianca Ingrosso, wins the same award in Sweden, says Dyhre Kvisvik.

DKK 20-35 million
The timing for the Klarna award is therefore very good for Villiod.
The company is in the midst of raising capital and will raise between NOK 20 and 35 million, and it’s busy days when Fredriksstad Blad talks to the founder.
– When we have to raise funds from investors, at a time when many are nervous and there is a lot of uncertainty, it is further confirmation of our concept that such a big player like Klarna chooses us among hundreds of other online shops. They have so much information about online trading and this gives our investors extra security, explains Dyhre Kvisvik.
Without being entirely specific, she says they’re on track to get the funds they need, and the goal is to get it done before Christmas.
