We are reinforcing the ‘ICT Infrastructure’ strategic initiative with IT architecture experts who are open to the developments and requirements of other strategic initiatives as they design their area of responsibility.
In this context, we are looking for you as a technology architect for the “Architecture and Service Management” team of the Information Technology Office, effective immediately or by appointment.
What are your duties?
- Together with the team, you will develop a cloud governance and strategy to provide a foundation for the effective and efficient use of digital solutions within government and externally.
- As an experienced cloud systems architect, you are responsible for consistently defining and continuously improving the service architecture
- You are responsible for designing and implementing cloud-native serverless architectures using cloud configurations
- You develop and maintain a highly scalable, highly available, and secure cloud platform, including conceptual and logical modeling and design implementations using design and coding best practices
- You worked closely with the service, product owners, developers, and other architects to create and refine user stories.
- New cloud technologies can be evaluated to determine suitability for inclusion in the solution architecture, including POC implementation
- Accompany the digital transformation of business requirements and processes
- You work in a daily and professional exchange with your employees from the Office for IT and Management and the State Chancellery of the Canton of Zurich
what do you bring
- You have an advanced (tertiary) degree in computer science
- You have a degree in software engineering or a comparable subject
- You have 5 years of experience as a cloud systems architect
- Strong working knowledge of IaaS and PaaS cloud architecture (preferably Azure)
- Familiar with working in agile environments
- You have the ability to take a customer and market perspective and develop pluggable and legally compliant solutions
- Understand common cloud frameworks and practices and understand how to integrate and use them
