The Business and Media Food Drive in the streets of Sorel-Tracy on December 1st

The newspaper The 2 Banks will once again participate in the traditional Food and Media Food Drive which will be held for the eighth edition on Thursday 1is December, 7am to 4pm, at various intersections in Sorel-Tracy.
The newspaper team will be set up at the crossroads between rue du Prince and avenue de l’Hôtel-Dieu between 10am and 11am. Media and businesses will flock to this intersection throughout the day as part of this annual event organized by the Sorel-Tracy Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Other street corners will be used this year for various collections, namely the intersection of boulevard Fiset and rue Auber, that of chemin Saint-Roch and rue Cormier, as well as that of boulevards de Tracy and de la Plaza.
Last year, a check was presented for $7,540.40 as part of this event. The record year was 2020 when $9,744.92 was raised, excluding non-perishable food items, gift baskets and warm clothing worth over $1,000.
