Bushido statement burst again in the clan process: Abou-Chaker in court | Regional

The testimony of rapper and co-plaintiff Bushido in the trial against clan chief Arafat Abou-Chaker and three of his brothers had already been announced twice, and the testimony failed twice.

Berlin – A week after the start of the trial last Monday, a spokeswoman for the regional court announced on Friday that the next day of the trial had to be canceled on Monday.

Bushido (41) should testify that day! The rapper, whose real name is Anis Ferchichi, is also a joint plaintiff in the proceedings. The court cited illness as the reason for the failure, but gave no details.

Actually, Bushido’s statement was planned for the second day of the trial last Wednesday, but it was postponed there too. The reason: A defense attorney for Abou-Chaker demanded all interrogation protocols from money laundering proceedings against Bushido from the public prosecutor in order to check the credibility of the co-plaintiff.

A case of which the defense attorney later said in front of the hall: “There was one time. Is employed.”

On the second day of the trial, Ghadir Abou-Chaker (32) was the first and only witness of the day to take the stand. But as the wife of Yasser Abou-Chaker, she made use of her right to remain silent. A short process day for everyone involved.

If Bushido actually testifies at some point, it will certainly take longer. At first it was not clear when exactly that would be. A total of about 80 witnesses are on the list. There should be 26 days of trial before the verdict is due to fall on November 30th.

Bushido and the head of the clan were close friends and partners in the music business for years. According to the indictment, criminal offenses should have occurred after “voice-over artist” Bushido broke up business relations in 2017.

Arafat Abou-Chaker did not want to accept this and unjustifiably demanded a million payment from Bushido as well as participation in his music business for 15 years.
