– At first I thought we were being shot at, says Ane-Susanne Brenden from Lørenskog to Dagbladet.
It would eventually turn out to be something else entirely.
MyLørenskog mentioned the matter first.
I biter
Together with their daughter Magnhild (6), they were on their way home from Oslo on the 110 bus. Suddenly there was a loud bang followed by the pane right next to them disintegrating.
Here sat Alexander (17)
The daughter must have been sitting a few centimeters from the window in question.
– I was scared and didn’t understand what happened, the 6-year-old tells Romerikes Blad.
The incident happened right outside a construction site at A hole of approximately one centimeter was formed on the underside of the broken window.

– The bus was relatively empty, but those who were present also reacted. It was very uncomfortable, especially when you are with smaller children, says Brenden to Dagbladet, and adds:
– Fortunately, Magnhild probably understands less of the scope due to her age.
In retrospect, she admits that the broken bus route is probably related to blasting work on the respective construction site.
Contacted the police
Several advised her to contact the police after the terrifying incident – which she did.
– I tried to call two different numbers, and stood in the queue for a total of 40 minutes, she claims to the same newspaper.
The police must have been told that they could not start an investigation until the victim in the case had made contact.

She wonders why she was not immediately given the status of offended, but admits afterwards that affected is probably a better term.
– I was probably more affected than the offended party, she says.
Explosion?
To MittLørenskog, the police inform that the case was quickly dropped, as the police do not always succeed in reaching the target.
– The police have also been in the area. There we could not see anything to indicate that there had been an explosion. Since we could not find out the reason, the case was closed then and there. It happens in a number of cases, says section head investigation at Lillestrøm police station district, Bjørn Bratteng.
Press guard in Ruter, Benjamin Øveraas, also reassures potentially frightened passengers.
– The bus windows consist of a double layer of glass, so it takes a lot of force for both layers to break and pieces of glass fall into the bus, he says, emphasizing:
– Public transport passengers should not need to be concerned about this.
