KAIRO, iNews.id – Deadly accident claimed 20 human lives on the Assiut Province Highway, Egypt, Tuesday (13/4/2021). The tragic incident involved two vehicles, a bus loaded with passengers and a truck carrying cement.
As a result of the severity of the collision, 20 passengers died at the scene. In addition, the bus caught fire after hitting a cement truck. In addition, the accident also left three people injured.
The chronology of the incident, the bus full of unfortunate passengers departed from the capital city of Cairo. Upon arriving at the scene of the incident, the bus, which was traveling at high speed, hit a truck loaded with cement that was breaking down on the side of the road.
Reporting from Reuters on Wednesday (4/14/2021), the local provincial government office said the bus caught fire after the collision. This condition made it difficult to evacuate the victims from the bus.
