A young bus passenger filed a complaint after the driver forced him to get off because of the cat he had with him.
OASA previously claimed the driver thought the cat was in a non-compliant backpack.
According to OSY, the driver has been identified and has been summoned to an apology, while all the prescribed procedures are being followed.

“OSY.AE. regarding the reported incident, via social media and the allegation that a Road Transport driver dropped off a passenger for transporting a kitten informs that:
The Company became aware of the incident from the first moment and has already identified the driver, who has been summoned to an apology.
In case it is proven that there is a violation of the law “on movement with animals”, which in article 4 par. 4b, among other things, states that: “the transport of small pets by road means and fixed track means is allowed under the responsibility of the passenger and at the discretion of the driver or other authorized personnel of the carrier…as long as it is placed in a secure, closed type transport cage with dimensions up to 70 cm x 40 cm. x50 cm. and if the owner or keeper of the animal carries the animal’s individual health book-passport… and they place them in the free spaces of the vehicles… then the Company will proceed with the corresponding actions at the driver’s expense.
The O.SY. S.A. clarifies that it has carried out the required procedures – despite the fact that it has not yet received any official complaint – as the transport needs of the passenger public, including the transport of pets, are at the heart of our produced work.
Finally, we remind you that there is a competent complaints department, in which reported incidents are dealt with more easily and immediately.”
What did the young man complain about?
The young man, according to what he claimed, boarded the bus with his cat in a special transport bag, in order to take it to the vet.
As soon as he sat down, the driver approached him in a rage, who cursed him and told him to get off or he will throw him out, because “I am not a postman to carry this with me”.
After the unpleasant event, the 23-year-old disembarked and talked about what he experienced in a video on social media.
According to him, he met the conditions to be able to get on the means of transport with his pet.
