The reason for the attack was a remark to a passenger
A bus driver from the public transport in Plovdiv and a conductor were brutally beaten. The attack was carried out at the last stop on line number 7 in the Belomorski district.
The attacker was one. He was called by a passenger because of a remark to her that he was talking loudly on the phone and interfering.
The bus driver and the conductor have various injuries in hospital. The condition of the conductor is more severe.
“My husband is very stressed, anxious, with high blood pressure and blood sugar. Both are worried and humiliated, “Lida Minkova, the driver’s wife, told NOVA.
She explained that there was a passenger on the bus on Saturday afternoon, who was talking loudly on the phone and with a loudspeaker on. The driver remarked to her.
“The passenger in question is threatening them that they will see what kind of fight they will eat,” said Lida Minkova.
The bus reaches the last stop and returns. The same woman is waiting for them in the Belomorski neighborhood, but accompanied by a man. He boarded the flight and attacked the conductor and driver.
“My husband is an elderly man, 65 years old, and the conductor is about 70. The beater is 30-40 years old, and the passenger – about 30. My husband calls someone to pick up the bus, but no one picks him up. Then, alone, with his head broken, he puts the bus back in the garage. He then went to the First District to testify. An ambulance was not called from there either, and he drove home alone. I took a taxi to take him to the doctors, “Minkova said.
