In New York, a city bus has crashed off an overpass onto the road below. Eight people were injured as a result.
For unknown reasons, the accordion bus in The Bronx shot through a fence on the viaduct. The front part of the bus plunged about 15 meters and remained vertical.
One of the injured is the bus driver. He is reportedly in hospital with serious injuries. According to the police, the driver missed a turn, but it is not known why. No other vehicles were involved.
