A new incident on the “Road of Death” in Romania just a week after an accident in the same area – Karash-Severin district, one Bulgarian citizen died and two others were injured, BTA recalls.
The authorities in Buzău activated the so-called red intervention plan after a bus with 32 people overturned today, Digi24 reports. 22 people were treated in nearby hospitals in the area. All passengers are conscious. The driver was seriously injured but was also contacted.
According to initial data, the incident happened on DN 2 (E85), at the exit from Rumniku Surat municipality towards Fokshani. The bus was transporting workers from the Focsani garment factory.
Traffic in the area is still blocked.
