“Bus Accident in Guci, Tegal: Dozens of Passengers Involved”

A bus encounters accident in the tourist area of ​​Guci, Tegal, Central Java. The red bus carrying dozens of passengers fell into the river.

Collect Detik.com, Sunday (7/5), the large bus that had an accident was seen in an overturned position in the river. The location is under a bridge which is a highway.

In a video you can see a number of people trying to get up and out of the river. Some of them are injured.

Tegal Police Chief AKBP Muhammad Sajarod said the accident occurred on Sunday (7/5) morning and has been handled by officers. He confirmed the bus fell into the river.

“Information early this morning and when the members and medical staff handled the bus passengers. We straightened out the accident and then the bus entered the river,” said Sajarod when contacted CNNIndonesia.com.

Currently the bus passengers are still being treated by the medical team. The number of victims is not yet known.
