Rooftop tents come in all shapes and sizes, but few campers are as smart as this Bürstner Habiton camper.
The roof tent is placed on a Renault Kangoo. The French cargo is also equipped with a camper installation, making it a real micro camper.
A car with a roof tent or a camper?
We’ll start with the roof tent, because that is the most striking thing about this model. The tent is under a hardtop that is firmly attached to the roof of the Renault Kangoo. This means that you have no wind noise and little air resistance while driving. This is often the case with a normal roof tent.

The roof tent does not need to be set up with poles, but inflates itself. The air mattress is also inflated immediately, creating a place to sleep for two people.
A third place to sleep in the camper
A sleeping place can also be created in the Renault Kangoo itself. The front seats must be folded for this.

At the back of the Kangoo camper you will find a built-in kitchen module. The module consists of a cool box, sink and induction hob. You will also find storage options in the back of the camper. You can cook while you are dry under the tailgate of the Renault!

The micro camper is also equipped with insect screens, window darkening, lighting and an extra battery. The Habiton is therefore more than a car with a roof tent.
Only a concept model
The smart micro camper is only a concept model for the time being. Bürstner has yet to determine whether the model will actually go into production.

Autovisie also went out with a roof tent. This was mounted on a Suzuki Jimny and not as nicely integrated as the Habiton.
