The telephone system of the service center is affected.
Due to a water pipe break in the data centre of Austrian Airlines, a number of IT are currently failed systems. This also applies to the website and the associated Internet-Check-In, the reservation system, the Mail Server, and parts of the telephone system. The telephone customer service is therefore currently unavailable.
The technical infirmity occurred on Tuesday afternoon in the Main data center of Austrian Airlines at Vienna airport. The company confirmed the technical difficulties and system failures, and apologised to passengers for any inconvenience caused. The clearance of flights is currently on Back-Up systems, as well as manually.
