The measure was carried out in a house in the town of Villa Benjamín Aráoz, Burruyacu department, within the framework of a case in which a robbery at the Benjamín Paz School is being investigated.
Due to the discovery of the marijuana seedlings, the authorities of the Early Decision Fiscal Unit ordered that Federal Court No. 2 of Tucumán be intervened, from where they ordered the seizure of the seedlings for violation of Narcotics Law No. 23,737 .
As for the rest of the seized items, the province’s Livestock Department intervened, ordering the seizure and subsequent confiscation of the beef for violation of Provincial Meat Law No. 5,434.
During the judicial measure, members of the Headquarters of Zone I, Burruyacu Police Station, Villa Benjamín Aráoz, El Puestito, Didrop Este and Burruyacu Rural and Environmental Crimes participated.
The raid was supervised by the head of the Eastern Regional Unit, Commissioner General Fabio Ferreira.
