Over 1,200 total man-days, almost 6 months of opening and thousands of people of all ages assisted with great professionalism: these are the numbers of the service provided free of charge to the Vidor vaccination center by the alpine volunteers of the Ana di Conegliano, Valdobbiadene and Vittorio Veneto.
Almost 6 months of emergency situation, from 23 March to 10 September, which saw 8 volunteers as protagonists a day until 7 June and then 6 in the summer period until closing, with a constant commitment, Saturday and Sunday included, so much to receive the applause of Ulss2 and, in particular, of the health personnel with whom the Alpine volunteers worked side by side.
Unanimously, the three presidents of the Ana Sections of Conegliano, Valdobbiadene, Vittorio Veneto, Gino Dorigo, Massimo Burol and Francesco Introvigne, therefore felt obliged to thank the numerous volunteers who firmly said “yes” to the call of their coordinators and who, with commendable generosity, courtesy and professionalism, guaranteed an essential and indispensable service to the Vidor vaccination center from the first to the last day.
A highly professional service that has made the link between the three Alpine Civil Protections of the Left Piave even stronger, offering an essential service to citizens from many municipalities in the surrounding area.
Many and flattering demonstrations of thanks received in these six months both from the many vaccinated people and from the head of Ulss2, who said several times that the presence of Alpine volunteers was essential to be able to carry out the health service provided to citizens in the best possible way.
Thanks also to be extended to the non-alpine volunteers of the 2nd Provincial Civil Protection Sector, who in turn made themselves available on some days alongside the black feathers.
