Burnout at work – signs

Pain in the chest and head

When “burnout” suffers not only mental, but also physical health. Prolonged immersion in stress and anxiety can cause chest and head pains, nausea, heart palpitations, shortness of breath, and even fainting.

The immune system suffers from stress – a “burnt out” person becomes a target for all kinds of viruses and bacteria.

To prevent weakening of the immune system, try to eat well, sleep at least 8 hours a day and rest from work.

Apathy

As mentioned above, in the early stages of burnout, a person suffers from bouts of anxiety, depression, and mood swings. Gradually, the symptoms begin to manifest themselves more and more intensely, and as a result, the person completely loses interest in what is happening around him.

A person with “burnout syndrome” becomes apathetic and indifferent to objects and people that previously were of great importance to him.

This state inevitably leads to isolation from society and the development of severe forms of depression. If you feel something like this, see a specialist right away – you really need help.
