Famous Nigerian singer Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, in what appears to be a New Year message, has cast a spell on his detractors.
Speaking in Lagos at his recent concert, the singer, who stressed that he still performs in the country despite many rumors against him, also addressed rumors that his mother had danced for the late Afrobeat musician Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.
The singer, who appeared hurt by the rumors in a video that went viral on social media, cursed his detractors saying that God will punish anyone who doesn’t love him.
“I’m here with all of you after you said I killed someone in Cubana. After I said my mom used to dance for fella.
No wahala (no problem). I still love you, that’s why I’m here. If you don’t love me, God will punish you.
This fucking national television talks like this. I don’t know what’s going on and you all laugh, not knowing it’s serious.
It’s my life, they’ll end my life on some bullshit,” Burna Boy said on stage.
